While Team Sanjhi Sikhiya has been impregnated with the idea of systemic education change in Punjab for quite some time, it was because of EduMentum that we were able to successfully ‘deliver’ this ‘baby’. Their know-how and experience served as a mentor ‘mother’ to us since they have gone through the initial tough years and were there to guide others like us. The ‘nourishment’, ‘tips’ and support were quite apt and timely for an organization such as ours. What makes EduMentum stand out is its hands-on approach and a laser-sharp focus on the design of programs.

The work we do with the Forest communities in areas distant from cities and villages in itself in a big hurdle for people to come forward and support us. Edumentum took that leap of faith to support our Whole School Transformation of Forest Schools. The encouragement, technical support, understanding and recognition of our work has added to our knowledge, conviction and vision to work in the long term. The contextualised program design and approach we have developed for our work will help us achieve our vision. The Edumentum Team is supportive and helpful on all fronts.

Working in an extremely remote area constricts your view to immediate problems and their immediate solutions. Being a part of EduMentum helped Ayang see the larger problems with clarity and gave the ability to solve them systematically. It opened doors to new connections and mentors who introduced new ideas and new possibilities. Now that we have launched a fellowship of our own, we deeply appreciate the immense amount of planning and thought in the whole process.

My 3 year journey as a mentor with Edumentum has been very rewarding. I've been a part of EduMentum since its ideation phase and to see it grow from an idea to empower entrepreneurs to be a robust program has been rewarding. From 6 organizations to 23 in a span of 3 years, Edumentum has enriched my experience as a mentor. Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan - my interactions with founders in these states have deepened my understanding of education today.
