The lack of skills, knowledge and growth mindsets in teachers, school leaders and other stakeholders of low income community schools lead to lack of awareness, poor learning outcomes in an unsafe environment for the children, causing apathy towards community and self-development. Lantern is working toward bridging this gap by building leadership capacity in the people from the community and developing lifelong leaders who will in turn intervene in the capacity of teachers in the affordable private schools.
