Children in marginalized communities face early literacy challenges which leads to poor learning outcomes. This also reflects in their later years. Realising the significance of the problem, Upkram is working with a three fold approach to strengthen early literacy by building the capacity of teachers, empowering local youth to take charge and developing interest in students for reading.
